Hi Patrick, this is Caroline, Mum and Brads sat on the settee on Boxing Day, been searching on the internet trying to find you for a week, easy to get onto, I think not!
Hope you had a lovely, odd Christmas Day. Mum says sorry the phone call was short, so funny that it was the first ever call Grandma has made on her new mobile. Tried to get through to Rothwell and got Marrakesh market. Mum will ring tomorrow and reverse the charges so she can have a nice long chat.
If Grandma rings again say hi, but don't say where you are because you'll get her worried.
Your doing fantastic so far, just keep the little min going for abit longer. Guess what I got for Christmas, its so ace, a baby Orang Atang, how gorgeous. Cant wait to go see it. The stupid Zoo is closed today but will go as soon as they will let me in. You'll have to come with us to see him, we'll have to try and get a baby penguin when we're there too.
Dad will no doubt be ringing on numerous occassions later today, to check on your progress at breakfast, lunch, tea and supper, its good to talk, is dads motto.
Keep going strong. Have a wonderful rest of the Christmas time and a fab New Year. Hope your drinking lots of water from your backpack and keeping well, same to all the others in the treck.
